WATER—The Rodney Dangerfield of Nutrients.
It Gets No Respect!!
One of my favorite habits that never gets the respect it deserves is DRINK WATER. Sure we all understand the importance of staying hydrated, but that's the extent of our knowledge for most. To make sure your busy schedule isn't compromising your health, TEST YOUR WATER IQ below and find out why DRINK WATER could be your most important habit for excelling in life without undermining your health.

Me and My Water
You know that old song, "Me and My Shadow?" Well my song is "Me and My Water" because I'm NEVER without a bottle, glass or jug of water. You'll even find me without my cell phone before you'll find me without my water. Hiking, biking and just plain running errands call for convenience and portability, so I have this handy "bottle lanyard" with a rubber ring that loops over the top of the bottle and the strap hangs over my shoulders. Of course, I love adding True Lemon, True Lime or True Orange to give an extra burst of refreshing flavor, especially when I'm working out. These handy envelopes are packed in my briefcase, purse and van so I'm always well stocked no matter where I am.
When I'm out speaking at events and asking audiences to trade their bottles of soda for bottles of water, I often hear, "But water is so BORING. I just can't get into drinking water." My solution: Add a refreshing slice of lemon, lime or orange. Whether it's the real fruit or the convenient TRUE versions, this healthy burst of flavor will have you drinking twice the amount of water, and probably more!!
Drink Water. And think before you drink anything else. This is just one of the eight habits taught in my weight-loss novel, Water with Lemon. Going on and off a diet is DEFINITELY NOT the way to lose weight and keep it off. I despise counting calories or keeping a journal to keep track of fat grams or carbohydrates, so I developed eight core habits that I can live with each and every day. With these habits, I know that every night when I crawl into bed, I've eaten the right amount of calories, the right fats, the right carbs and the right portions without ever counting anything or feeling deprived.
If you're tired of the whole diet game, but still want to lose a few pounds and be healthier, read Water with Lemon. This is a story about Karen who is fed up with dieting [maybe just like you], and still struggling with 60 extra pounds she'd love to be rid of. With the help from her somewhat unusual neighbors, Karen learns how to think about food differently and adopt new habits that release her from diet prison and lose the weight once and for all.
Read the first chapter yourself and see why this is a story from which you can learn how to think about food differently and begin a healthy lifestyle that works in REAL life every day. Order the book from my Web site and I'll send my favorite "water bottle lanyard" FREE to the first 50 Web orders that type in the special offer code "WWL Lanyard."
Let's celebrate the end of summer and beginning of fall in proper style and good health. Drink Water and read Water with Lemon.
